Ram Mandir in Ayodhya Set to Open to the Public in January

Exciting news has emerged regarding the much-anticipated Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, which is on track to open its doors to the public in January, according to recent reports. The construction of this iconic temple is progressing rapidly, with the ground floor currently undergoing finishing touches. Champat Rai, the General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, shared this promising update.


The first phase of the temple's construction is slated to be completed by December 30, 2023, marking a significant milestone in this monumental project. Nripendra Mishra, the head of the construction committee for the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust and formerly the Principal Secretary to Prime Minister Modi, provided this encouraging news. 

This grand temple is being developed in three phases, and devotees can look forward to visiting the temple once the first phase is finalized. The initial phase encompasses the construction of five 'mandaps' on the ground floor, among other ongoing developments. Remarkably, the construction of these five mandaps involves nearly 160 pillars. 

Mishra further disclosed that efforts are in full swing to complete the construction and install the idol by December 30, 2024, signifying the culmination of the first phase.

The Ram Mandir holds immense cultural and religious significance, and its construction has been a long-cherished dream for many. Once completed, this magnificent temple will stand tall at 380 feet in length, 250 feet in width, and 161 feet in height, making it an architectural marvel that pays homage to a revered figure in Hinduism.
