Everything in Britain is going to Change after the Death of the Queen !!

Queen Elizabeth II died on Thursday at Balmoral Castle. Her death will result in many changes like the national anthem, passports, police uniforms, and even money will need to be updated.

Operation Unicorn

Buckingham Palace already had a plan in place for the Queen's funeral, reportedly code named 'London Bridge' had she died in London. However, "Operation Unicorn" has been set in motion. The palace had decided to name the operation after Scotland's national animal if the monarch died in Scotland.

The New King Prince Charles

Prince Charles automatically became King upon the death of his mother. He will be known as King Charles III. He is now head of state not just in the UK but in 14 other Commonwealth realms including Australia and Canada.

Change in the National Anthem

The lyrics of Britain's national anthem have been changed following the death of Queen Elizabeth II. In honor of the UK's new royal ruler, the national anthem has been tweaked from "God Save the Queen" to "God Save the King." This version of the national anthem was last used in 1952 when George VI was on the throne.

Currency to be updated

In the UK, all cash notes and coins depict the face of the Queen - but now following her death, new coins and cash will be created with the face of the King. As the authorities had been planning for the for quite some time, the new cash will be produced and distributed into general circulation, with the old money gradually being phased out.

Other changes

Police officers as well as the soldiers will need new uniforms as the cypher on insignia will be replaced with those of the new king. The wording on the inside cover of British passports will have to be updated, as they are issued in the name of the crown.
